Présentation intitulée: Climate change: life and death.

Abstract:

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change aims to prevent ‘dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system’. Interference is dangerous if it creates a risk of very bad consequences, so to know what is dangerous we need to set a value on the possible consequences of climate change. The consequences include shortening human lives, and perhaps a collapse of our population. How do we evaluate those?
