Biographie

Kathryn Walker is a SSHRC postdoctoral research fellow. Her research draws on analytic political philosophy and critical theory, asking how gender realities and feminist philosophy inform our ideas about justice. Her doctoral dissertation takes a similar approach to Hegel’s political philosophy. Together with Will Kymlicka she edited Rooted Cosmopolitanism: Canada and The World, available since 2012. She received her PhD from Social and Political Thought at York University and was the Democracy and Diversity fellow at Queen’s University.
