Biographie

Site personnel.

I’m currently an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at McGill UniversityBefore coming to McGill, I was a Research Assistant Professor in Philosophy at UNC-Chapel Hill and Core Faculty in the UNC/Duke Program in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Prior to that, I completed a PhD at the University of Arizona, an MA at Brandeis University, and a BA at Wheaton College (Norton, MA). In Spring 2017, I was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard; and in Summer 2019, I was an RSSS Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University.

I work mostly at the intersection of normative ethics and metaethics, but I also enjoy writing and talking about issues in political philosophy, epistemology, moral psychology, and the history of ethics.

I organize the annual Chapel Hill Normativity Workshop with Alex Worsnip.
