The Groupe interuniversitaire en philosophie politique (GRIPP) invites you to the 2026 Montreal Political Theory Manuscript Workshop, to be held on September 10, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in McGill University’s Old Chancellor Day Hall, Stephen Allan Scott Seminar Room (Room 16).

During this event, we will examine the manuscript by Professor Stephanie Collins (Monash University) titled “The Systemic Stance: Culpability and Obligation Under Structural Injustice.”

  • 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Éliot Litalien, Chapter 4: “Moral Obligation from the Systemic Stance”
  • 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Victor Muñiz-Fraticelli (McGill), Chapter 5: “Moral Obligations in Public Organizations”
