“Standardiser le traitement du corps des soldats défunts : le cas français”
One of our student members, Camille Collin (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières), a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire sur la diversité et la démocratie (CRIDAQ), has published a new chapter in the collective work Les sciences sociales face aux armées : critiques, (dis)continuités et nouvelles approches de l’objet militaire (Septentrion, 2026), edited by Angeliki Drongiti, Mathias Tura, and Jeanne Teboul.
The book proposes to rethink the military object and ways of studying it through a historical, sociological, and political analysis of the conditions under which social science knowledge about armies is produced.
