The first chapter of Yann Allard-Tremblay‘s (McGill University) new book, entitled “Reconciliation Duly Considered”, is now available free of charge for a limited time.

The introductory chapter presents the political project of settler/Indigenous reconciliation in the Canadian context as giving rise to the general problem in political theory with which Disjunctures is concerned. It is explained that the decolonial project of recentering Indigenous lifeways associated with reconciliation requires the transformation of currently dominant ways of being, doing, and knowing.
