L’Observatoire québécois de droit animalier is pleased to invite you to its very first symposium !
The symposium will take stock of the 10 years following the 2015 animal rights reform, which, from a legal standpoint, changed the status of animals from objects to sentient beings.
The symposium will take place on May 16, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Concordia University‘s SHIFT Center for Social Transformation (LB-145) (1400 De Maisonneuve Boulevard West, Montreal, Quebec).
