Xavier Gravend-Tirole (Université de Montréal) edits a special issue of Érudit’s Revue interdisciplinaire d’études religieuses (Relier) entitled “Écospiritualité. Approches réflexives”.

This issue explores how spirituality enters into discussions on contemporary issues, particularly in the field of ecology. Xavier Gravend-Tirole brings together several authors who, drawing on a variety of fields of study and disciplinary perspectives, reflect on the dynamics underlying the neologism “ecospirituality,” i.e., the greening of religion—when religions incorporate ecological concerns—and the spiritualization of ecology—when environmental movements adopt a spiritual dimension.
