Peer Review Process

All articles submitted to the journal are evaluated by a committee of at least two anonymous reviewers, selected by the editor and the editorial coordinator, who may consult the scientific committee if needed (the committee does not know the names of the individuals who submitted the article).

The anonymous evaluations are the primary factor in determining the outcome of the submission.

An article that receives two positive evaluations is automatically published.

An article that receives one positive evaluation and one requesting minor or major revisions is not necessarily published. The final decision is made by the editor-in-chief, who may consult the editorial board to inform their judgment.

An article that receives two evaluations requiring major revisions is not published, but an invitation to revise and resubmit will be extended.

Finally, an article that receives two negative evaluations is formally rejected.
