Biography

Academic Background

Since 2024, I have been a doctoral student in philosophy at Université Laval, under the supervision of Catherine Rioux. In my dissertation, I examine how to repair the harms suffered by victims of sexual violence, focusing in particular on the concepts of victimhood, moral repair, and epistemic repair.

During my master’s degree in philosophy at the Université de Montréal, I completed a funded research stay at the CRÉ (2020–2021). My thesis, supervised by Ryoa Chung, explored the contribution of feminist theories—especially care ethics—to the philosophy of migration and asylum. While I was writing my master’s thesis in 2020–2021, I received a CRÉ scholarship and served as the student representative on the Centre’s Executive Committee.

Professional Background

After completing my master’s degree, I held various positions in applied ethics within the university sector. I am currently an ethics advisor at the Commission de l’éthique en science et en technologie (CEST) and serve on several collegiate and university Research Ethics Boards (REBs) as a member specializing in ethics.

Engagement

Throughout my studies, I have been involved in several student and academic groups, including the Association des étudiant.es en philosophie de l’Université de Montréal (ADÉPUM), the Société féminismes et philosophies de l’Université de Montréal (SoFéPum), Ithaque (the graduate philosophy journal), and the Comité féministe en philosophie de l’Université Laval (CFPUL). I was also part of the organizing team for the Feminist Philosophy Symposium.
