As part of our collaboration with BistroBrain, several of our student members were able to benefit from a one-hour online training session on science communication and outreach, on January 21. The goal of this one-hour training session was to give students a better understanding of what science communication is and to give participants the confidence they need to get started. The training was led by Loïc Demoulin, who has been a member of the BistroBrain team for nearly three years.

The training will be the subject of a science outreach event to be held on February 25 at the Île Noire pub, where our student members will present their work in progress. For more information, click here.

BistroBrain is a nonprofit organization with eight years of experience in science communication, having introduced more than 1,000 people to this field to date.
