Workshop Day on Career Development After Graduation in the Humanities and Liberal Arts

Fifteen strategic clusters within the Society and Culture sector of the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) are organizing a day of workshops on career development following graduate studies in the humanities, literature, and the arts. The event will take place online via the following link.

The day will be divided into two parts:

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Job Market 101

• Presentation by Jean-Benoît Cormier-Landry (CIRST, UQAM) and Charlotte Moffet (CRILCQ, UQAM)
• Central topics: CV (academic and professional), digital tools (LinkedIn, ORCID), cover letters, interviews

1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Hiring Process for College Faculty

• Presentation by Ghyslain Bolduc (CIRST, Cégep Édouard-Montpetit) and Sophie Dubois (CRILCQ, Lionel-Groulx College)
