Virginie Simoneau-Gilbert (Oxford) publishes a new popular text with her colleague Leonie Bossert entitled “Even if we could speak to animals, should we?”, published in the digital magazine Psyche.

The authors argue that though AI could satisfy our deeply held desire to talk to other non-human creatures, the potential for harm could outweigh the benefits.
