Biography

Pierre-Léo Rouat is a doctoral student in Political Science and Philosophy in a joint programme between Université Laval and the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS) in Paris. He holds Bachelor’s in Economics, Law, and Philosophy and Masters in International Economics (Sciences Po), Political Philosophy (Sorbonne), and Social Sciences (EHESS).

His thesis (2025-2029), supervised by Alexandre Gajevic Sayegh, focuses on the use of AI in European environmental policies, adopting a comparative analysis with Canada. More broadly, his research interests include AI ethics, political economy and AI regulation.
