Biography
Olivier Boucher is a master’s student in philosophy at the Université de Montréal, supervised by Denise Celentano (UdeM). He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the Université du Québec à Montréal, earned with distinction. His research focuses on the intersection between the limitarian theory developed by Belgian philosopher Ingrid Robeyns and ecological issues. More specifically, Olivier is interested in examining the relevance of limitarian theses for thinking about environmental justice, as well as their normative implications.
Since the spring of 2026, Olivier has been a FRQSC fellow (Master’s Research Scholarships) for the 2026–2028 period.
