Biography
Milan Bernard holds a master’s degree in political theory (University of Toronto, 2016) and a bachelor’s degree in international studies (Université de Montréal, 2015). He is currently working under the supervision of Pascale Devette (Université de Montréal, Department of Political Science) and completing his PhD in Political Science at the University of Montreal. Milan is focused primarily on the work and intellectual legacy of Hannah Arendt, with an interest in the presence of conflict at the heart of politics and the possibility of balancing its destructive potential through solidarity. His current research now extends to the intersection between democratic and ecological demands.
