Biography

I am a PhD student at McGill University in the Department of Philosophy and the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies, under the supervision of Kristin Voigt (McGill) and Natalie Stoljar (McGill). My doctoral research examines the harms and injustices experienced by sexual assault survivors within the justice system, drawing on bioethical and feminist approaches. More generally, my work focuses on applied ethics, particularly in relation to women’s health. Broadly, it lies at the intersection of ethics, women’s health, violence against women, gender inequalities, epistemic injustice, systemic injustice and biases, and public policy. Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked in the field of research ethics. I also hold a master’s degree in Bioethics & Society from King’s College London and a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and Philosophy from McGill University.
