Biography
Estelle holds a dual master’s degree in Energy Engineering from the Institut Mines-Télécom Atlantique (France) and Polytechnique Montréal. She worked for six years as a life cycle assessment analyst (i.e., comparing environmental footprints) at the CIRAIG (International Reference Center for Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Transition) and Environment and Climate Change Canada. Since 2023, she has been enrolled in the PhD Environmental Science program at UQAM. Her research aims to set side by side the visions of ecology put forward by life cycle assessment practitioners and by de-growth activists.
