Call for Papers on Public Philosophy: “The Pamphlet”

The Pamphlet is a public online philosophy magazine, co-edited by Anna Milioni (CRÉ, GRIPP). The magazine aims to make philosophy accessible to a wider audience, spark discussions on issues that are too often relegated to the academic sphere, and encourage the promotion of philosophy in public debate.

The magazine is interested in any subject approached from a philosophical angle, provided that the style is not obscure and the structure is simple and clear for people who have not studied philosophy. Contributions that deal with current events or attempt to popularize important philosophical theories are particularly welcome. In an effort to make philosophy more inclusive, the magazine now accepts contributions written in English, French, Italian, Greek, and Dutch. As this is a volunteer-run organization driven by enthusiasm, contributors cannot be paid. However, feedback on writing and visibility is provided.

Submission guidelines:

Contributions should be between 800 and 2000 words maximum (short articles are preferred). For more information, please consult the magazine’s guidelines for authors via the following link. Submissions should be sent to the-pamphlet@protonmail.com. Graduate students are welcome to submit articles.

The Pamphlet also wishes to encourage collaboration with others interested in public philosophy. If you are involved in a public philosophy project that you would like to share with the magazine, please feel free to contact the editors.
