Postdoctoral Fellowship: The RRECQ as an Infrastructure for Scientific Collaboration

The Réseau de recherche en économie circulaire du Québec (RRECQ) and the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche sur la science et la technologie (CIRST) invite applications for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship. The fellowship is devoted to the project “Le RRECQ comme infrastructure de collaboration scientifique : évaluation, comparaison internationale et perspectives.” It is supervised by our co-researcher François Claveau (Université de Sherbrooke), Interim Director of the CIRST, and by Saliha Ziam (TÉLUQ), Director of the RENARD team on knowledge transfer and mobilization.

Deadline: November 15, 2026

The successful candidate will study the RRECQ as an infrastructure for scientific collaboration and situate its development in a national and international context. The work will combine three components: a scientometric study of collaborations and scientific output, a qualitative study of collaboration mechanisms, and an international comparative study of similar infrastructures. The fellow will be affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke, will have access to the CIRST’s facilities (UQAM) and will join the CIRST, RENARD, RFICS and BIN-PhuN teams.

The fellowship is full-time for one year, with a salary of $50,000 (benefits included). It is open to candidates who obtained a doctorate in a relevant field within the last five years, or who are about to obtain one: sociology of science, implementation science, science, technology and society, etc. Experience in qualitative and scientometric research is required. The fellowship may be of interest to philosophers and sociologists of science.

To apply, send to francois.claveau@usherbrooke.ca your curriculum vitae, including contact information for at least two references, and a cover letter.
