Biography

Noémie Morasse Lapointe is a doctoral student in political science at the University of Montreal (since 2024), under the supervision of Pascale Devette (UdeM). She has been coordinating the Center for Research on Policy and Social Development (CPDS) since fall 2025 and has been teaching political science at Montmorency College since 2011. Her research focuses on the ethical responsibility of privileged individuals towards the world, drawing on Emmanuel Levinas’s concept of otherness to rethink power relations in the context of the Anthropocene.
