A Strong Turnout from the CRÉ at the Canadian Philosophical Association’s annual conference

Many members of the CRÉ participated in the Canadian Philosophical Association’s annual conference, which was held this year at George Brown College in Toronto.

Among the activities that took place were the presidential address by Ryoa Chung (Université de Montreal), “Santé et démocratie au XXIe siècle”; the plenary lecture for the Canadian Journal of Philosophy given by Christine Tappolet (Université de Montréal), “Values as Feelings,” based on an article co-authored with Mauro Rossi (Université du Québec à Montréal); and the presentation of the Canadian Philosophical Association’s Student Award for Best Essay in French to Nicolas Lacroix (Université de Montréal), 2024-2025 graduate fellow the the CRÉ, for his work “Démocratie insurrectionnelle et mouvements sociaux : vers une conception active et structurelle du conflit politique”.

Congratulations to all our members that took part in the event!
