Biography
Patrick Turmel is a full professor in the Department of Philosophy at Laval University and holds the Research Chair in Democracy and Public Ethics. He is also editor-in-chief of the journal Éthique publique.
Patrick has also taught at the University of Toronto, where he obtained his doctorate, and has been a visiting professor at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. He is the recipient of the 2017 Distinction in Teaching Award for Professors, awarded by Laval University.
