Two members of the Center for Ethics Research contributed to the latest report published by the Ethics Commission for Science and Technology (CEST): Marc-Kevin Daoust (École de technologie supérieure), as expert, and Erika Olivaux (Université Laval), as advisor of the project.
Drafted in collaboration with a committee of experts, this report, titled “Les risques et défis éthiques liés aux véhicules connectés,” outlines the risks and ethical issues raised by connected vehicles. The analysis underscores the need for further research, particularly to identify potential solutions for better regulation of the automotive industry, digital technologies, and data flows.
