The organizers of the Q3S (Québec, Science sociales et santé) listserve are putting together an academic retreat over the weekend of September 26-28. The purpose of the retreat is to bring together social science researchers who are looking to meet scholars from other institutions in the province, get feedback on their projects, and participate in workshops on writing, publishing, funding, and other topics.

Because of the proposals we have received so far, the activities will be conducted in French. (We hope to have a bilingual retreat in the future).

The cost of the retreat is 120$, which covers lodging and meals from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.  The retreat will be held in St-Alphonse-Rodriguez in the Laurentians, and we will be coordinating transportation from Montreal.
