Biographie

Kelsey Brady obtained her Joint Honours bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Political Science at McGill University in 2017. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science at the same institution under the supervision of Professor Jacob T. Levy. She has undergone research on eighteenth-century political satire, gender and Italian city-states, as well as the Smithian and Hegelian strands of Rawls’ justice as fairness. Her Master’s research paper develops a critique of theories of Indigenous sovereignty, and provides a normative account of band membership, with a special empirical focus on Canada. She has Omàmìwinini heritage, and is a proud member of the Algonquins of Greater Golden Lake First Nation.
